Seems like, if you are in a hot climate, you'd need to be gassing up the 
Honda's alot right?
if all you want is DirecTV, TV, water pump lights, solar would be the way to 
go.

if and/or when I have a diesel pickup with aux tank (138gal)
I'd LOVE to get the setup Walt has.
a diesel genset bolted to the bed running off the tank.
he has a 5000w, I don't need that, I'd be happy with whatever it takes to run 
the a/c, and turn that off to run the micro etc. he said his setup was 
5grand.
AND, if you live in an area whether hurricanes, or snow......
you could tank up the truck, and plug in the house if need be.
and he can run the a/c, fridge etc while on the road, much like a motorhome.
Anyone know where to look for a 2-3000 watt diesel? 
Camping world?
Meanwhile, GM and Dodge are supposed to have Hybrid trucks out soon, gas for 
GM and Diesel for Dodge, that will have a/c power outlets in the bed, not sure 
what the watts will be.
