Depends on the breaker but unlikely. Most breakers use a slow trip mechanism to account for short bursts of high amp draw or start-up. In the old days the fuses were called slow blow. The numbering and lettering on the fuses indicate amp and how fast they blow. If your AC draws over 30 for an extended period of time the breaker will trip. AL
