Don,
We got the 6ft tall screen.  This still leaves the screen a couple of feet
or more above the ground.  Installation is easy, all you need is drill and a
good rivet gun.  Everything else is supplied by ZipDee.  As we have two full
sized awnings (one on either side), ZipDee supplied me with an extra set of
snaps for the roadside awning.  This way I can locate the screen on the side
that makes the most sense (ie sun, view, etc).  

Another way to make the ground portion would be to order a couple of the
lower trailer brackets from ZipDee and attach them to a fairly thick
aluminum plate.  You could shape the plate as a rectangle with holes at each
end for the stakes or a square with holes at the four corners.  This was my
plan once I determined the success of the concept, but never got around to
it.  As far as mechanical security, I don't think this would be any better
than the two pieces of aluminum angle iron that I describe earlier, but it
might look more factory-like (if that really matters).
