Re: [A/S] first trip in A/S

How you handle the grey water kinda depends. And of course everybody
does it a little different. But here goes. For short trips or when
nearing the end of a long trip it is a good idea to store up grey water.
This will give you something to rinse the plumping and sewer hose out with.
For long stays you can connect the sewer hose to the park fitting and
leave the grey tank valve open.
What constitutes a long stay depends on how much grey water you create.
Long hot showers don't take long to fill a tank. Using the
campground/friends facilities and being gone all day can take a week or
more to fill the tank.
Probably the one thing I wished I'd thought of before the first time out
was why I waited so long.
Seriously, have fun keep notes and know that you can get along with darn
near anything you forget to bring.
We were out this last week and we forgot our Mobile Office connections
so we couldn't get on the Internet for 7 straight days. It was HORRIBLE.
But we survived somehow.
