Greetings Joe!

In a discussion of this topic on one of the other Airstream lists, a
Vintage owner reported having to remove some replacement plywood that
he had installed in his Vintage Airstream because the treated plywood
was reacting with the aluminum causing the aluminum to deteriorate. I
don't remember what type of treatment had been utilized with the
particular plywood in question. One of my concerns, as an asthmatic,
would be whether the off-gassing of chemicals from the treated
plywoods could be hazardous -- especially in the confined spaces of an
Airstream.
