Jack, back in those days, there were no holding tanks.
it was a straight dump thru. so, the gopher hole was originally a cat hole for
the duration dug out directly under the terlet.  then later it became the gray
water catch?    now, this is as memory serves and we are talking the old,
original 1930-40s trailers.
