Re: [A/S] Airstream lingo

hahahaha! I assume you have figured out it's the Allison Transmission.

< I still am not sure what SOB > is... other than the obvious... and I know
> it's not that.>

It's some other brand, usually referring to the square white boxes..... not
our cousins the Avions, Streamlines, Spartans and Silver Streaks... those are
cool and referred to by name <g>

Your truck and trailer hooked up is called your "rig"

"Hookups" are usually two way and three way. Two way is water and electric,
three way is water electric and sewer.

You are correct boondocking is dry camping.

Wallyworld is Walmart, many of their store offer a night of free parking,
helpful when you need a place to stop after dark or if you need to leave very
early and get back on the road.

The other Wally is Wally Byam, who founded the WBCCI, the organization for
Airstream owners who want to get together at Rallies and stay in Airstream
parks. (some require membership) The red numbers you see on some Airstreams are the
membership number of the owner.

Come on you guys, what other lingo can we teach Judy and other "newbies"?
