[A/S] Yet Another Tow Vehicle Question - Chevy Duramax

Hi all - first let me start by thanking everyone with your helpful 
information on towing, etc.  We drove a Surburban over the weekend 
and love the drive, BUT - I noticed that the 3rd seat seems very 
small and we could not figure out how you basically get to the 3rd 
row seat if the 2nd row seat is a bench seat.  Even the salesman did 
not now (now that's scary).  

Second, we are also NOW also looking at the Silverado 2500HD Duramax -
 does anyone tow with one and if so, what kind of mileage are you 
getting?  Just wondering, since they don't rate this on the sticker.  
Doing our ongoing research - we also noticed the high towing 
capacity - 10,000 with the 3.73 and 12,000 with the 4.10.  Any 
comments on this vehicle that could help?  

Also, we are waiting for the GM rebates to increase!!!!!  Every 
little bit helps. 

This ongoing "research" makes my head hurt - but we are very safety 
conscious and spending this kind of $$$$ - we want the most for our 
money.
