[A/S] Airstream Offroad

I took a 24' Argosy into the woods hunting every year that I owned 
it.  The roads in were just really steep logging roads (made by a D-
9 bulldozer for logging trucks)  I absolutely had to have four wheel 
drive to get in even without the trailer.  By going reasonably 
slowly, I only did one little bit of damage in seven years.  I 
caught the radio antenna on a branch and broke it off.  The trailer 
didn't have a radio, so why it needed an antenna, I'll never know.  
Anyway, no damage, but the rig was a full size Ford F150 Super Cab 
short box truck, and the 24' Argosy, and no problems.  After I sold 
the Argosy and got my 31' Airstream, I went up just one year, and it 
was okay.  No damage, but a bit tougher negotiating some of the 
tight corners.  I have ceased to hunt since then, so I cannot speak 
to the continued resilience of the 31' Airstream over that road.  I 
did have to fill a couple of holes and dig out a couple of ridges 
with the longer trailer.  All in all tho, if careful, Airstreams 
offroad pretty good, but I think they ride a touch lower than 
Argosies. (like maybe a half inch) (but this is just memory, not 
fact)
