LOL, Patti I can't see the guy beind me through the cap, I couldn't see the 
guy behind me if I had no cap and the truck was a convertible. Why?  because 
they are below the tailgate.  I back using the side mirrors.  One important 
thing is to get the little round mirrors to put in the flat side mirrors. My round 
mirrors have saved many a small car and driver.
