thanks. i will order a tube when i get off the road this week. i did 
go through much rain yesterday in el centro, calif and it seems the 
duct tape has worked, no more leaks. i do however need to take the 
tape off and put the caulk on and do it correctly as i do not want to 
look like the trailer trash we sometimes hear about (kidding).

the range vent was secured during the first heavy rain storm so i 
doubt the water was coming in there. only could find one small hole 
in the vulkem so this has to be the place.
