It sounds to like this trailer had "skirts" put on it which held moisture underneath it for many years and ruined it for all practical purposes. I have seen the same phenomena destroy cars parked in tall grass for only a few years. I would part the trailer out and sell the good pieces on EBay and start over myself. Steve
