An ST225-75-15 radial tire is only slightly shorter than your bias ply and 
is what most people replace the 7.00-15 with. I had P rated tires on my 
Excella 500 that the previous owner in AZ. put on and lost one tire just 
west of Amarillo, TX. on the way back to TN. Needless to say, Discount Tire 
in Amarillo put on 4 new ST225-75-15 tires so I could keep going.
