I thought someone would answer you, so I didn't, but they 
didnt', so I will.

I think that your van is a tad light and short to be a good 
tow vehicule. Remember that once you put your stuff in the 
trailer, you can easilyt get another 800 lbs, not to mention 
the liquids.  It is important that the tow vehicule be 
stable and heavy enough so that the trailer doesn't throw it 
off the road. The right hitch and a properly balanced set up 
is important too. I have towed horse trailers with too light 
a vehicule and it was a scary and unpleasant  business, not 
to mention dangerous.
