[A/S] Condensation in the water pump compartment

Just got back from a weekend of fall camping.  When I was getting 
ready to winterize and lifted the floor of the closet to access the 
water pump, I noticed mosture everywhere.  It was so bad that at 
first I suspected a leak, but it turned out to just be condensation.

Temps were down in the low 40's at night and the trailer was closed 
up most of the time.  I know now to leave the roof vents cracked open 
since there was also condensation on the windows and door frame.

While the fresh water tank compartment is supposedly heated, and 
there is a slot cut out in the floor next to the water pump for hoses 
and level sensor wires to get down to the tank, it doesn't seem like 
much air comes up to warm the water pump compartment.

I was planning on cutting two holes in the toe space below the closet 
doors, covering them with round grilles like I have in the bathroom, 
and installing a 12 volt fan from a computer case behind one of the 
grilles.  This would get some heated air from the living space into 
that compartment, and I'd probably only have to run the fan when it 
was cold outside.

Just wondering if anyone else had an easier solution to this problem, 
other than staying home.

This is a 31' center bath which has the closet over one of the wheel 
wells and the water pump is beside the wheel well.  With items stored 
in the closet, propping up the hinged closet floor is not a good 
option, and leaving a closet door open isn't much good either since 
it would block the hallway.
