When I delivered sail boats in the days of goverment mandated 55mph speed I 
was able to average 50 mph including stops I normaly drove 700miles a day. Now 
with the 65-70 mile speed I find it dillicult to maintain much over 50mph and 
a 700 mile day is a drag.
I realy believe that with the escilating gas prices that it will behove us to 
find the most echonimical speed to tow unless some of you are a lot richer 
than I.My gut feeling is that gas prices will level off at aprox$3.50-$400 per 
gal.
