I tow with a 2004 Ford F250 with a diesel engine.  The automatic 
transmission shift lever has a button on the end for "Tow Haul", 
which I'm not sure is the same system you described.

The Tow Haul system on my truck seems to change the shift points as 
the engine revs higher before shifting.  The overdrive is also 
dissengaged.

Although I had to buy a separate brake controller, there was a place 
under the dash to plug in a matching plug/pigtail which you connected 
to your brake controller for a real easy installation.

If you've been thinking about buying one of these trucks, you can go 
shopping for RV's and not have to wonder, will my truck be able to 
tow that?

There are only two things I don't like about this truck.  Mine is the 
super cab with a long bed which I need for other things, but it is 
tough to back into tight spaces.  Second thing I don't like is the 
payment.
