Re: [A/S] AC Question

Don
Last year I was shopping around for an A/C unit too.
I looked at several brands and models on SOB trailers and some different brands
on Airstreams too. When mine finally crapped out on a beach trip no less I was
seriously in the market for a new A/C unit, but by then I knew which one I
wanted.
One: a good one, and two: a unit that wouldn't drain down the sides.
I went with the Dou-Therm Penguin with a drip pan, you have to order it with it
or it will come without one.
I like the drain out the bottom best, plus when you do stay on a campsite that
slops towards awning side of your trailer you can attach a section of rubber
hose to lengthen the drain line to keep the water away from where you are, under
your awning enjoying yourself with no mess at your feet, unless it's raining.
