Hunter, it must be some change in the locks.  Nothing up to and 
including my '98 ever locked on me, but this new one has about three 
times now.  Just slam the door and it is locked!  Good plan to keep 
a separate set of keys outside.  

I called a locksmith the first time and we got in through the back 
window, patiently working the window locks to the unlocked position 
with a bent piece of metal that he carried.
