Congratulations!  I had a 1999 GMC van and towed my Airstream with it.
I purchased extension mirrors from Camping World.  The mirrors on my van
were the tall type rather than the horizontal type.  Camping world had
mirrors to match the vertical height of the van mirrora.  They attached
with a rubber harness.  You do need to watch them in the beginning as
the harness does seem to stretch.  Good luck and happy days!
