You are quite welcome.

When you unbalance the 300-ohm twin lead by connecting it to a standard "F" 
connector (75-ohm unbalanced) input, the twinlead feedine acts like an 
antenna too and loses it's ability to cancel out energy picked up by the 
feedline. In a properly balanced twinlead setup the twinlead does not act an 
an antenna because all of the common-mode signal (energy picked up by both 
wires of the twinlead) cancels itself out, leaving jus t the energy fed into 
the twinlead by the antenna.

It'll work fine as long as you use a balun to convert somewhere before feeding 
the signal into the TV set. You might check that the twinlead is properly 
attached to the antenna and at the plug if you still have problems after 
installing a balun.
