RE: [A/S] Hensley or Pullrite

Both are excellent hitches and both do the same thing...move the pivot point
forward to a point at or forward of the rear axle, making the trailer behave
like a fifth wheel trailer.  

The Pullrite is custom installed permanently on the tow vehicle and
typically will not fit any future tow vehicle that the owner might purchase.
The Pullright still allows pivoting to originate with the trailer, but due
to the 5th wheel configuration that it creates, sway is dampened before it
can resonate.  If you have an undercarriage mounted spare, the Pullrite
usually requires that the spare be move as the Pullright occupies all the
space between the rear axle and the end of the tow vehicle.

The Hensley does it magic with geometry and all the parts mount on the
trailer side of the hitch and are totally transferable.  The Hensley is
unique in that due to the geometry involved, prevents the trailer from
inducing any form of pivot between the trailer and the tow vehicle, making
the rig behave much more like a motor coach than a towed configuration (the
tow vehicle easily induces a pivot).  The Hensley costs a bit more than the
Pullrite. The Hensley has more parts to it that the Pullrite, but is not as
complicated as it looks.

Both provide improved turning angles and neither impairs backing up as some
other sway control technologies can.  

I chose the Hensley as I anticipated upsizing both trailer and tow vehicle
at some point and wanted to keep my investment in the hitch intact.
