Hi Hunter,

You didn't specify what type of Firestones you are running. If they are
Steeltex.....well there just happens to be a recall that Brigestone
announced this Spring.....seems these tires have bad history, just not as
much publicity as the Firestone ATX. The National Highway Safety Board
reviewed something like 500 incidents and then decicided there was no reason
for them to force a recall.

Do a Google for Steeltex failures.

Sorry about your truck damage, just glad it waited to happen late in this
year's trip, rather that early on.
