Go to worthingtoncylinders.com web site. They are the manufacrurer of the
aluminmum tanks.

The website has dimensions of the various size tanks, so you will be able to
figure out what size you have.

Some local propane dealers may know the proper length OPD valve for your
tank (Not common knowledge though.) Try the yellow pages and call around.

A year or so ago, the Blue Beret had a special deal on the proper valves for
aluminum cylinders from a distributor of them (Evergreen Distributors, I
think it was.)

I got my valves from them, price was reasonable and less than I could get
locally.

You will want to have a propane dealer change the valves for you, as it
takes a monster wrench and a special clamping jig to hold the cylinder.
