Re: [A/S] Yosemite & Hensley

This idea may be a little over kill...
We had trouble with the connector in the back of our 97 Dodge getting
wet and not working.
I went to our local heavy truck shop and got a round pin 7 connector
E/W 20 amp breakers on 6 pins. This I rewired into the trucks bumper
using water proof case and calk.
Then on the trailer I placed a round 7 pin connector using part of the
old
cord. I mounted this in a water proof box on the electric jack post.
Now I can use the coiled cord that the Semi Trucks use. it is very
heavy and coiled. I can use a rubber strap to keep it off the hitch.
I feel it should be good for Many years and if needed it could be
replaced from any truck stop.

Thank you
