This is by no means exhaustive, but a few things I have learned through trial 
and error are:
1)  The vents should be left open for air circulation.  If your storage con
ditions, including security and cover, it would be nice to leave a protected 
window open some to allow extra ventilation.  The Florida heat and humidity can 
be brutal.
2) When you add water to the stool, cover the water with a piece of plastic 
like Saran Wrap to minimize evaporation.  
3) Remove all food stuff to minimize an ant invasion.  Also put down ant 
traps.  
4) If you suspect that mice could be a problem, you need to take steps to 
address the issue.  I read about a product called Mouse Out.  It is designed to 
keep mice out of engine compartments and cabs of farm equipment while it is 
setting idle for extended periods.  We use dryer sheets and moth balls.  We also 
remove anything that may be attractive to setting up a mouse home such as 
paper goods, towels, food stuff, and such.
5) Clean and dry the refrigerator.  We prop the doors open to eliminate mold 
growth.
6) Cover the furnace, refrigerator, and water heater vent louvers/screens to 
minimize the possibility of insects using the appliances as a nesting area.
7) Be aware that you may have a dirt dobber or wasp next in the fan of your 
A/C when you get ready to come out of storage.  Turn on the fan and be alert 
for any unusual noises.  If in doubt, remove the top cover and check.
8) Unless you have a source of power, your battery will run down soon.  You 
may want to consider removing the ground straps on the batteries.  They store 
better with a full charge.
9) If you are in a nonsecure area, remember that someone may want to get 
inside your Airstream and check out the items that may be "recovered/recycled".  
Ours was broken into in a secure area.  It was enclosed with the normal six 
foot chain link fence with three strands of barbed wire.  Attendants lived on 
site.  We suffered minimal damage/loss, but others in the storage received lots 
of damage to items in their trailers.  Since they got our TV and some other 
items, they may have felt that we "paid our dues".
