Hello David, We also have an 85 32 footer with a dinette. I called 
Airstream and talked to Rhonda about this trailer, because there is 
not any listings for a 32 footer in 85. She said after a lot of 
looking that she thought it must be an 85 1/2. The first 32 footer 
with a dinette was in 86. I don't know about the wood, like you said 
it looks like honey oak. We like the trailer very well. Hope this 
gives you some insight on this unit.Richard in Southwest
