Thanks for all the suggestions.

When the trailer gets delivered I'll make another search for a hidden 
outlet.  I did check in the cabinets above and below, so luck, but 
probably should check behind the panel at the back of the cabinet.

Either way I'm sure I'll find an easy place to plug it in.

I like the idea of the bar that someone built out of this space, and 
while I might not go that route, it does bring up the thought of 
getting a small microwave to put in another cabinet.  Our current 
plan is to put a small microwave and coffee maker in that same spot.

Here is another question for people with a similar trailer:

On top of the larger nightstand is a narrow unit with about four or 
five drawers.  It just seems kind of awkward since the top drawer is 
partially obstructed by the overhead locker.  The galley has drawer-
like bins below the sink and behind the tambor door, which look 
original, but was this drawer unit in the bedroom relocated?  
Possibly from another RV?

I have a photo of it which I can post if my description is not clear.
