[A/S] Wheel Bearings

Hi All.
I pulled the wheels to check the brakes, magnets and bearings on my 34
footer.

Brakes good, one bad magnet (dead, Prodgy missed it) pulled and packed
the front bearing and checked the rear bearings, poked a little grease
at them.

Cleaned the spindle, put it all back together. Along comes my A/S pal
Gene and tells me that I MUST put new seals in every time I pull the
wheels. I told him that I NEVER replaced seals in ten years in the old
"Stick" trailer and they never leaked.

Gene has me worried now. To replace them takes it out of the regular
check-up list and moves it to the " Lots-O-work and costs money list"

What do you think dirty hands people?
