[A/S] Avert your eyes - Streamline Question
Hi Peter;
What about Walbernize. Isn't that a surface proctectant type wax for
the clearcoated finish of airstreams? It should brighten the
anodized finish on your Streamliner. I don't know how long it would
last, but if the suggestion is Tranny fluid, then they are just re-
adding the petroleum distilates that normally dry out of paint. Are
you sure it is anodized rather than clearcoated? I am not real
familiar with anodize, except that it is on backpack frames, but does
it act like paint? And does it have petroleum distilates within its
compound? If so, then I could see the tranny fluid to perk it up a
bit, but a really decent wax could perform the same service without
being sticky. Perhaps a good Mequires with the precleaner first.
Hope I helped at least with suggestions.
