[A/S] Avert your eyes - Streamline Question



Hi Peter;

What about Walbernize.  Isn't that a surface proctectant type wax for 
the clearcoated finish of airstreams?  It should brighten the 
anodized finish on your Streamliner.  I don't know how long it would 
last, but if the suggestion is Tranny fluid, then they are just re-
adding the petroleum distilates that normally dry out of paint.  Are 
you sure it is anodized rather than clearcoated?  I am not real 
familiar with anodize, except that it is on backpack frames, but does 
it act like paint?  And does it have petroleum distilates within its 
compound?  If so, then I could see the tranny fluid to perk it up a 
bit, but a really decent wax could perform the same service without 
being sticky.  Perhaps a good Mequires with the precleaner first.
