As long as you start with a clean coach that is all you'll need.

Now, about the technique for applying it. There is a special way to do it 
don't you know.

If you step up close to the coach and look at the metal you should see lines 
of texture or grain in the metal. The ideal technique is to only rub on the 
metal in line with the grain of the metal. That way any fine scratches you 
make in the finish will line up with the grain and not be visible. The
sides have a horizontal grain. The formed segments on the end however are 
more of a challenge. Again, look closely at them. You will see that the grain 
changes from one segment to the next. First a curve from horizontal to a 
downward direction, then a little more down angle, until you get to the
center segment which has a vertical grain to it.
This technique should be used anytime you are rubbing on the coach with 
anything. Washing, waxing or whatever. A coach that has been "rubbed the 
wrong way" looks pretty bad.
And just in case you have a rock guard, there is a Mequires Plastic Polish 
that you can get that will remove the fine scratches and make it look like 
new again. Comes in a gray pint bottle.
