First of all, if you are in an Airstream, you will never be "trailer trash".  
Are you going to be parked in a commercial RV park?  Sometimes they have 
rules as to how many containers, etc. you can have per site.  I am parked for 
about a year right now in a commercial park( contract nursing job), and I 
have a container garden, vegetables and flowers in my side yard.  I just move 
the pots around during the sday to get the full benefit of the sun.  I have a 
little rock garden that I made, too, with garden gnomes, pinwheels, etc.  You 
just have to use your imagination.  There are many ways to spruce up a yard 
temporarily for not much money.
