David & Erin - Sorry to hear you want to pass up on the 30 footer. If there
was anything to pass up on, I'd suggest you pass up (trade out of) the
Expedition in favor of something with more wheelbase and go for the 30
footer!! I just got home from a trail ride (horses, wagons & mules, etc., 6
days of boondockiong) and the weather was evenly split between beautiful
sunshine and freezing cold & rain (this is Texas after all!) and had a
family of 4 ask if they could sleep in my 30' Classic due to the cold. That
made 6 of us, all snug, warm & dry for 3 nights. Absolutely no problems. Had
to take on more water & dump the gray tank more often than planned, but that
is small potatos compared to being able to share the comforts of home with
close friends, who now are in the market for an Airstream!! The trailer sold
itself.
