The Expedition may actually be very suitable for your towing needs. Yes it 
want ride as smooth as a tow vehicle with a longer wheelbase, but where are 
you going to be towing? If most of your trips are short 250 to 700 miles 
round trip, plus they are not hurry there, hurry back type you can get by 
with the Expedition, plus it will give you a better idea on what you want 
out of your next tow vehicle. The 2005 models will be out soon and a lot of 
people trade vehicles every 2-3 years.
Just a thought.
