We took advantage of the seminars they offer at the rally and learned a
lot about our Zip Dee today from Greg Blue.  Especially to lubricate the
arms with SILICONE spray once a month.  He used Amsoil, and said he
found the can lasted longer than other brands.  He also said not to use
any thing to waterproof the fabric other than what Zip Dee recommends.
He replaced free the knobs on the awning arms if they were broken or
cracked or missing the little pin.
Another hint he gave was to hold the pull strap at an angle while
rolling up the awning to prevent a thick "lump" in the center causing
stress on the ends.

We also were lucky enough to catch Walt and have the water valve on our
toilet replaced.  But said they would have to have the furnace at the
shop to find its problem.
