Why not just get a use tractor trailer and flat bed trailer and run the 
whole rig around that way.

It all really comes down to what people are comfortable with.

I have the 35K vehicle with the 3K trailer, and the $500 trailer hitch.  
I'm completely satisfied with it.  I looked at the airride hitch and the 
hensley.  I just thought that they were too much for my particular 
needs.  They alsao might become more important when applied to marginal 
rig setups where either the trailer is longer or the tow vehicle is 
shorter and help a great deal more than in my particular setup.

There is in my opinion, no complete answer to this quiestion.
