Hi Arnie, A lot of people? LOL... I can't imagine anyone doing it but since you do I guess at least one person does. I wouldn't chop up my truck and I certainly wouldn't want to lose my "basement" in the bed of the truck under the cap..... and the good news is it's not necessary because the truck tows great! Hunter
