Hi gang,

I heard back from Andy, at Inland RV who did some more research.

The latest:

"Here is the "official" Airstream description of the vinylclad material.
 
An adhesive is sprayed onto the metal. The vinyl is placed on top of that 
adhesive.
The sandwich is then heated and rolled, so that the vinyl becomes an integral 
part of the metal.
 
Therefore I stand corrected as to the "exact" method used.
 
This still does not explain why one coach becomes sticky and another does 
not.
 
Oh well, another one of life's unexplained mysteries."

So, there you have it.... I think that Futura idea is brilliant.
