Arnie,

Not sure about the Franklin  Coupler, but I do know the Marvel couplers are 
now supported by Atwood Mobile Products. As in Atwood water heaters and 
Hydroflame furnaces. Their coupler product brochure is at 
http://www.atwoodmobile.com/Products/chassis/viewbchr.cfm
Repair kits are available for the Marvel couplers through most RV dealers. 
Many of them may not realize it, but with the brochure in hand they should 
have enough info to talk to their supplier about
getting one. Of course Airstream carries them also.
