I am new to the airstream, having just purchased a 1969 31' Sovereign 
International. I was tentetively in the market for something much smaller, 
but couldn't help but feel overwhelming ambition upon seeing this trailer.  I 
really have no idea what I am in for, the body is great except for a large 
dent up front and on the lower panel.  The interior is all original except 
the furnace and a/c look like replacement units.  All electrical works, I 
still have to fill the propane tanks and test the gas appliances, the seller 
assured me everything was working.  The interior is filthy, lots of grease 
stains, which I have cleaned only to discover underlying tobacco stains.  I 
am not sure of the best method for cleaning these stains off the original 
walls, or whether it would be sacrilige to seal and paint them.  The 
cabinetry is solid with some sanding and staining should look great.  I am 
needing to replace the drapes, interior latches, wheel covers, under bed 
storage covers, etc. etc., would love to know a source for these and other 
supplies.  I am going to work on the interior all winter, and start on the 
exterior this summer. Will keep posts of my progress.
