--- Hi, I'm here and have been busy. As I said I have the luxury of a 
heated garage that "Old Home On The Range" fits in. The termination 
valves have been increasingly hard to push and pull the last season. 
I took down the access panel under the trailer and removed the 
valves. Took them apart and found them full of what appeared to be a 
very heavey grease or possibly a kind of sealer left from whoever had 
them apart last. Cleaned them up and they worked fine. Finally found 
a couple of seal kits for them. They are Thetford and obsolete. I 
toyed with the idea of replacing them with something new, but having 
to refit the mounting flanges on the tanks didn't sound like much 
fun. While I was under there I added some length to the outlet and 
the valve handles. About 4.5". It makes reaching them much easier to 
reach. They are still within the tire sidewalls so scraping them off 
on a curb won't happen. Much easier to reach with old kness. I also 
took out the "pooper" took it apart and cleaned the groove for the 
blade. Bench tested it with a garden hose, rewinterized it and put it 
back. Next is the hitch coupler. Intend to take it apart, wash all 
the grease out and give it a good inspection, replace or rebuild as 
needed. I also noticed wind noise at the small round powered vent in 
the bathroom last fall. I took the dome off and reweatherstriped it. 
I opened the range vent and found it well sealed. I want to look into 
the 14X14 roof vents, but don't have enough room overhead to get at 
them. Outdoor job next summer. I can take them apart outside and if 
need be push the trailer back into the shop while waiting for parts. 
etc. They all work, but I wanted to lub the linkages and replace 
weatherstrip. Readajusted all the window latches. Took the door for 
the hose and cable wind up reels off, stuffed a bit of insulation up 
in there and riveted a permanet alum panel in place of the old door. 
Also replaced the weatherstriping on the outside storage access 
doors. I used door weatherstriping from Chev pickups in the middle to 
late seventies. Works great. No glueing. I guess I am to the job I 
have been side stepping for a couple of years. Cloudy Viesta View
