If your receiver is welded to the frame, I doubt that it is a stock Ford 
receiver. I have never seem a factory receiver welded to any vehicle, 
but it could be something new. Also the stock receiver will always, 
always have a maximum capacity on it, just to cover the liability issues.

I'll be very interested to hear what Ford says.
