Hi Rich,

I went through the same debate..... I went for the new one after hearing all 
the tales about how vintage are great if you like constant maintenance.... I 
didn't want the old appliances, didn't want the old stuff breaking....  I also 
wanted the wide body and especially the gray water tank.... 

If you like to tinker and reapir and don't mind going outside to light the 
water heater and having no gray tank... then I'd say vintage.

It really depends on your personal likes and dislikes.....
