RE: [A/S] 34' S/O Door?

Howdy y'all;

I read the posts concerning doors and locking.  We
went to a rally this weekend and set up like we were
supposed to.  The manual says to put down the
stabilizers before yyouextend the slide out, which we
did.  The manual also says to not use the stabilizers
for support, which we didn't do.

Now my question.  The door thread mentioned being
unlevel would torque the trailer, and cause the door
to not close properly.  Our door would close, but the
dead bolt would not set, but the regular lock would. 
The door did not seem to close to a snug fit.  Could
the weight of the slide out cause the trailer to
torque so that the door would not close?  If so,
should I put more weight on the street side stabilizer
to compensate for the slide out weight or what?
