Hi Al,
Sounds like you have had a couple of bad day, but getting the bent panel
replaced will not be a problem. I had the big left rear top corner panel
replaced on my 34' Limited at "Out of Doors Mart" Airstream Dealer
(PH:336-668-2784) two years ago. They are just east of the junction of I-40
and I-40 Business around Winston - Salem, NC, at the Sandy Ridge Road Exit.
They did an excellent job on mine. I could not tell it had been replaced
when they got finished with the job. It cost me $900 to get it replaced, but
did not want the reminder of backing into a tree limb up in Alaska every
time I saw the back corner. I just had them rework all my brakes and wheel
bearings this passed week as the second time I have used their shop, and all
the work was done on time and all appears to be working perfectly. Their
Service Manager is Tony, and he seems to tell it like it is. He then
delivers what he promises. The Mechanic that did my work reviewed every job,
and showed me the parts he replaced to be sure I knew the reason they were
replaced. I was impressed with the service.
