FWD may be nice now and then but I cannot see the extry expence for it as 
well as a whole bunch of extry parts to ware out unless one has a reason to do 
some serious off road use.Also the increased center of gravity makes them more 
unstable.As it is I dislike driving my Dodge Cummins very much it is like all 
other pickups I have owned you sorta aim it down the road.I used to live on a 
secondary road in the snow belt before FWD became the fad and very rarly missed 
work because of road conditions my transportation was 2wheel drive sedans.
As far as diesels go over the last 38 years and 7 diesel powered vechiles 
with the exception of the joke general motors played on me I have foung them to 
be a money saver in all respects . Much better than the 4mpg we got Towing with 
our Foard Camper special 400.c.i. motor
