Seriously, the existing lighting in an AS is only barely functional. As 
   a theater designer (ret.) I love the halogens, I have them all over 
my house kitchen.  You might want to try the LED's in a couple of places 
to see what they do. They are highly directional, and you can get great 
effects with them, not to mention using less juice.
