It won't take much pink stuff to protect the traps  A cupful in each 
trap should it.  Don't forget the toilet valve.  That's why I have a 
winterizing suction bypass valve to circulate pink stuff through the 
pump and all the lines, after I've closed the supply valve to the hot 
water tank and opened its bypass.  Takes less than a gallon to do the 
whole job.
