[A/S] Airstream Catalog Exterior Length Specifications
Hello.
I am trading up from a 1999 19' Bambi to a 25' Classic that a friend found.
[ A 2002 that was used once and stored indoors the rest of the time (c: ]
Anyway, because I need to add a joiner kit to lengthen my Cover-It garage I
measured the total length of the Bambi. I was surprised to find out that it
was 19' from the rear bumper to the front of the "A" frame where the trailer
ball connector is.
Since I had never measured it before I had always just assumed that the
lengths represented in the Airstream catalog were the living space lengths
and left out the rear bumper and "A" frame.
So is it ok to assume that the exterior length specifications represented in
the factory catalog are the distances between the end of the rear bumper to
the trailer ball connector?
The length of the 25' Classic in the 2002 catalog is shown to be 25'9".
I apologize if my terminology is incorrect.
Thanks,
