Daisy, thanks for your response.  

I went to Sureflo's websight and sent them an e-mail describing my problem 
and asked if I needed to purchase a new pump head.  I got an e-mail response 
suggesting that I not buy a new head.  They said they would send me a new 
set of valves and they thought that would take care of my problem.  How 
about that for service?  It is refreshing to find a supplier who still 
practices good, old-fasioned customer service.
